Fresh Scratch er et hurtigtørrende kunstigt blodpræparat i 3 farver. Det indeholder ikke opløsningsmiddel. Den mørke version er yderst effektiv til at simulere skorpen på et sår. Den lyse version kan bruges til simulering af friske sår, da det tørrede Fresh Scratch-præparat bevarer sin glans, hvilket gør at det simulerede sår stadig ser friskt ud. Den tredje tilgængelige farveversion simulerer faktisk et unaturligt udseende: en "old-oil-effekt". Dette simulerer perfekt en hud indsmurt i olie. Fresh Scratch anvendes bedst med en ujævn svamp eller spatel, og skal derefter have lov til at tørre. Under tørrefasen bør præparatet ikke røres, da dette vil lave matte pletter. Efter tørring vil Fresh Scratch ikke affarve ved kontakt. Det kan fjernes fuldstændigt fra huden med grundig anvendelse af sæbe og varmt vand.
